Durango’s headquarters and preservation efforts featured in The Telegraph

Our buildings have history inextricable from the towns where they stand.

Even when there isn’t an active concilio in the town, we take pride in seeing how these buildings continue to be a part of a town’s living history. Oftentimes, though, these buildings are forever known for their ties to the S.P.M.D.T.U.

This is the case for the S.P.M.D.T.U. building still standing in Durango, Colorado. Called “La Paloma” by many, this building has been a mainstay for generations. Preservation efforts are starting to preserve this building.
